Perfectly suited for weddings that have outside space incorporated in the venue, the colour can flow beautifully. Using green as your main venue colour has one big advantage and that’s price as grass, leaves and ivy can be sourced cheaply and are perfect for this colour scheme. Ivy is the perfect napkin ring as it doesn't wilt out of water. Purchasing just a few ivy plants from your local garden centre can often be all you need. Choose plants that have long enough stems to wrap around your napkins but really mature stems can be brittle so check that they will bend without snapping. Dependent on the size of your napkin between 10cm and 15cm should be long enough. The ivy can be cut days before and just popped in some water to keep fresh, just give it a good shake and pat with kitchen roll before its wrapped around your napkins.
